American heritage comes together to celebrate the revival of Adrian Original. On October 10th, Verdura will host the launch and presentation of the Adrian Original new Spring/Summer 2018 collection.
Founded in 1939 by Duke Fulco di Verdura, the jeweler is known for its timeless, elegant and distinctly original designs. In his day, with a strong Hollywood connection through friend and client Diana Vreeland, Verdura designed colorful jewels for stars of the era including Greta Garbo, Joan Crawford and Marlene Dietrich. Settled in New York, with a shop on Fifth Avenue, he soon established himself as a boldly innovative designer, admired to this day by style-makers worldwide.
It is thus a special bond that unites today the houses of Adrian Original and Verdura, both of them born of Hollywood heritage and renewed in their capacity to reflect and innovate to meet the expectations of today’s modern woman.
The emblematic pieces of the Verdura collection are also featured in the latest photoshoot of the new Adrian collection, joining forces for an even more dazzling style.
